Bas Jansen is a 3D artist en philosopher. He is focused on speculative design and building futuristic worlds that let you dream away, but also let you think critical about our own world. These worlds have a predictive function on the one hand and they will, on the other hand, provide us the opportunity for reflection on who we are and who we want to be. Bas investigates the limits of being human and the relation between humans, nature and technology. By exploring these futures we are not only able to pursue or shift from these paths to the future, but we can also engage in a conversation with these scenarios to better understand ourselves.
