My name is Fay. I am an Irish-Australian who studied animation at HKU University of Arts Holland and Tama Art University Tokyo.

DIRECTOR
I really enjoy the diversity of tasks involved as a director and am a multifaceted creator, interested in the the full process of producing animation. Developing concept/story, characters and unique visual styles for animated projects is what I do best. My short ‘Otaku Boi’ won the Asian Art Award, 3rd Prize at International Media Art Festival Cyland and was nominated for Best Experimental Film at Tofuzi Animation Festival.

STORYBOARD ARTIST
I am an efficient storyboarder with an eye for clarity, humour, style and cinematic storytelling. I can also create animatics (video storyboards). My storyboarding experience includes episode 2 of the TV anime ‘African Salary Man’ (Tokyo MX TV) and children’s mini-series ‘Wezen Levens’ (Z@ppelin24 TV).

ANIMATOR
2D Animation is my passion, whether it be traditional (on paper) or digital (TV Paint, CACANi, OpenToonz, After Effects, Adobe suite, Anime Studio, Clip Studio Paint, Toon Boom, Spline etc.). My favorite is a mix of techniques.

COMPOSITOR/EDITOR
I have a good feel for timing and a lot of experience editing and compositing, especially using Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

DESIGN
I worked as a writer, photographer & illustrator for ANIWAY: Japanese Pop-Culture Magazine and Fiber Magazine. My past work includes several illustrations and covers for magazines, posters, flyers, websites and t-shirts, as well as company logos.
